||Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
Conducts tests on pulmonary or cardiovascular systems of patients for diagnostic purposes. May conduct or assist in electrocardiograms, cardiac catheterizations, pulmonary-functions,
lung capacity, and similar tests. Maintains equipment; records test results. Follows department policies and protocols.
- High school diploma or GED
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES).
- Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology (CVT) program, and Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) within 24 months of hire/transfer.
- BLS certification.
