Industrial Maintenance Technician
The primary function of the Industrial Maintenance Technician is to perform control system and component diagnostics, maintenance and repairs of manufacturing machinery. The Industrial Maintenance Technician will also assist with light and medium rigging, leveling, air plumbing and connections to infrastructure services as needed. This position supports infrastructure equipment maintenance, such as hoist systems and shop air compressors. The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that job orders are completed in a timely manner.
The qualified candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent with up to seven years of experience doing complete systems maintenance, modification, installations and repairs. Electrical/Mechanical trouble-shooting and repair of manufacturing machinery. Additionally, trade school training (license/certification) demonstrating the skills required for this position is preferred. Must have experience with complex, computer controlled equipment and diagnostics systems with the ability to read and interpret wiring schematics and electrical interfaces. Experience conducting inspection, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs of diesel and LP fueled forklifts and man lifts with minimal supervision is required. Welding, painting and fabrication skills beneficial.
Must be capable of lifting 50lbs. from 4 inches to 25 inches (1 rep)
Must be capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60lbs.
Must have grip strength of at least 50 lbs.
Must be able to reach above shoulder 65 inches from floor level (minimum)
