Cell Specialist - Maintenance
Working within a team environment, the Maintenance Specialist will have responsibility for the diagnosis, maintenance, repair and operation of all types of computerized numerical control and manually operated machines. This support will also include a variety of facility, inspection and process equipment. These are described as multiple axis precision machines, mills, lathes, CMM, balance, inspection, laser-welders, plasma spray, heat treat, welding, electrostatic discharge machines (EDM), X-Ray, robotic, drills, grinders, hone, lap, debur, and air-compressors.
Applicant will also have an understanding and provide support to facilities electrical/plumbing, mechanical systems, HVAC, process, environmental, material handling, grounds, etc. The Maintenance Specialist will also ensure that such equipment are properly assembled safely, aligned correctly and/or calibrated as required.
Applicant will also responsible for oiling, chip collection, support of environment issues, and hazardous waste disposal. Applicant will follow all WI safety guidelines, lock-out procedures and wear appropriate PPE as required. Maintenance Specialist will support call-in requests, weekend/alternative shift assignments.
• High School or GED and one or more of the following:
• Working toward degree or certificate within an automated repair or other relative technical discipline.
• 1 – 3 Years directly related maintenance experience with multiple axis CNC tool systems or relative precision machine repair experience.
• 3 – 5 Years of directly related maintenance or manufacturing experience.
Demonstrated proficiency on tasks and skill level characteristics of the Maintenance Cell Specialist C position. Performs advanced maintenance on facility, inspection, CNC and/or manual machining equipment. Has an in-depth working knowledge of manufacturing practices and procedures. Correctly interprets blueprints, customer specifications and internal drawings. Coordinates and solves equipment and facility problems. Continually develops and provides recommendations for improving processes and procedures in all areas. Has an advanced working knowledge of maintenance practices, testing methods and equipment. May train, provide guidance and assist in developing lower skill level team members. Capable of lifting and transporting parts and fixtures weighing up to 50 lbs. Responsible for and accountable for product safety and the quality of work, including, as a minimum, all elements defined in the Company’s Quality Policy.
