Total Rehab Care (TRC), a division of Meritus Health, is looking for Physical Therapists!

Full Time, PT, and Flexible Staffing positions available for Inpatient and Outpatient services!

Meritus Total Rehab Care (TRC) helps patients overcome health challenges and return to the life and activities they enjoy through our wellness programs, inpatient and outpatient therapies. Our skilled therapists develop an individualized treatment plan for each patient, based on a thorough evaluation.

Therapists use evidence-based treatment interventions to promote improvement in conditions such as orthopedic injuries, strains, sprains, stroke, traumatic brain injury, amputation, pediatrics issues, vestibular dysfunctions, cancer and hand injuries.

A comprehensive service, Meritus Total Rehab Care provides a full range of rehabilitation programs with occupational, physical and speech therapists, social worker and massage therapists. Several of our staff have achieved advanced certifications in hand therapy, orthopedics and brain injury.

Under the supervision of the Program Manager, with clinical input from the P.T. Staff, this entry level P.T. position provides appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic services to a full caseload of patients and participates in departmental programs and activities, including education.  By licensure supervises PTAs and rehab aides.  May supervise students when clinical skill and length of experience meet department and national guidelines. 


Education - Graduate of an accredited P.T. program, with a Master's or Bachelor's Degree in area.

Experience – none required

Licensure/Certification - State Board of Maryland P.T. licensure, or temporary Maryland license, awaiting state board examination or state reciprocity. Current BLS (CPR) certification in compliance with policy required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Knowledge of applicable treatment interventions specific to Physical Therapy. Demonstrates analytical skills to assess patient, develop treatment plans, evaluate progress and develop alternative treatment plans as necessary. Demonstrates interpersonal skills necessary for the establishment and maintenance of effective working relationships and the effective instruction of patients and families.
