The Regional Director leads a team of Account Executives (AEs) for the commercial health sales team and is responsible for selling all of the Commercial Health services and solutions into the Region. This role requires a sales leader with strong experience in sales, coaching, customer relationships, working internally to remove barriers to sales, and leadership experience. This person is responsible for a target/quota of their region by maintaining and expanding Bookings in existing accounts and creating opportunities in new accounts. They will work with their team to create and pursue sales plans to achieve targets/quotas and objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensure AE’s are maintaining and expanding account penetration in their assigned territories.
• Work with AE’s to drive results and meet targets/quota goals.
• Proactively assesses all accounts in territory and ensure we are actively managing the account, creating, and identifying new opportunities.
• Manages sales team members to create a high level of trust, openness, and access to multiple levels of client contacts
• Meets assigned targets (i.e., Bookings)
• Achieves pipeline and sales process KPIs and metrics as assigned.
• Ultimately responsible for all proposals in their region ensuring pursuit strategy is in place and AE is coordinating all efforts for the opportunity.
• Cultivate a team environment by developing communication plans (status reporting, team meetings, etc.) across the sales team.
• Creates standard operating rhythm with team to drive sales, including leading metrics of success.
• Acts as a player/coach to assist team in opportunities and meet assigned goals.
• Partners with Practice Directors and Quality to create and implement strategic plans to drive business.
• Partners with practice directors to create sales enablement and education programs.
• An experience coach with the ability to create individual development plans, mentor team members, and provide timely feedback.
• Collaborates with sales management to create educational opportunities, motivational programs, and appropriate incentives
Requirements Education and Minimum Experience:
• College Degree Required
• Minimum 8-10 years sales experience, with 5 years specifically in the healthcare IT field
• Minimum 2 years management experience required
• Strong leadership skills
• Superior communication and assessment skills
• CRM and basic MS Office experience required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead a team of 3-5 sales people
• The ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and think strategically; balance long and short term priorities
• Is a catalyst for change and is receptive to new ideas/services and continually learning
• Approachable and strong conflict/problem resolution skills
• Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to demonstrate quantifiable results in highly complex and geographically dispersed organization
• Can engage clients strategically with and executive presence, can demonstrate value to the client
• Effective time management, delegating, and monitoring & tracking team’s performance
