The Strategic Account Executive is a senior sales position focused on executive level relationships and larger solutions selling while serving as the Account Manager for several named accounts. The Strategic Account Executive is responsible for achieving sales quota and assigned strategic account objectives while leading the client account planning cycle and ensuring assigned clients’ needs and expectations are met by the company.

• Manage target accounts as defined jointly by the VP Sales & National VP Sales
• Drive new business and further penetrate existing accounts by expanding our service offerings
• Target accounts and design and execute the strategic sales strategies
• Develop and maintain a trusted advisor role with the identified named accounts
• Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned client accounts and creates high level of trust, openness, and access to multiple levels of client contacts
• Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and clients’ expectations
• Proactively leads a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period
• Involves client in the account plan development creation and execution
• Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates client needs on an ongoing basis
• Leads solution development efforts that best address client needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company SME personnel
• Achieves pipeline and sales process KPIs and metrics as assigned Cultivate a team environment by participating on regional calls
Requirements Education and Minimum Experience:
• College Degree Required
• Minimum 7-10 years sales experience, with 5 years specifically in the healthcare IT and EMR background field
• Proven ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team through the selling process
• Proven success using consultative selling in healthcare and healthcare IT industry
• Strong leadership skills
• Superior communication and assessment skills

• Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to think critically and develop strategies to drive new business
