Description Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of EAC (estimate at completion) and profitability analysis
• Serve as a liaison between travel agency and project coordinators
• Review work schedules and effectively communicate with travel agency and project coordinators regarding travel requirements
• Maintain electronic documents and trackers for all resources, including airfare, lodging and ground transportation
• Communicate all lodging information to the resources, project coordinators and sub-contracting firms
• Communicate all travel to the Expense Team
• Investigate and resolve travel issues in accordance with standard procedures, alerting management to areas of risk
• Assist traveler with special travel requests and ensure travel needs are met
• Reconcile company paid airfare and lodging
• Assess and pursue opportunities for maximization of client billing; communicate with the Team Lead, as to observations and actions taken
• Recommend and implement agreed process improvements
• Communicate and coordinate with other team members in the offices
• Assist Expense Team, as needed, with the audit and approval of contractor expenses
• Perform additional assignments, as directed by the Team Lead, including assisting on special projects and initiatives

POSITION DESCRIPTION
Administrator, Travel



Education and Minimum Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree or some college courses in accounting or business preferred
• More than 2 years of billing and receivables and/or accounts payable experience preferred
• Knowledge of Group Travel management preferred
• Knowledge of Vision Software or other accounting platform, a plus
• Knowledge of FTR (Federal Travel Regulation) and GSA (General Services Administration) preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Good organizational and analytical skills; critical thinking skills
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Effectively present information and respond to questions from Leidos employees
• Demonstrates flexibility
• Respects and maintains confidentiality of client, staff, and company information
• Apply in-depth knowledge and thorough understanding in the use of Leidos standard suite of work solutions (e.g., Word, Excel, PowePoint, Access)
• Possess a strong understanding of all systems and their dependencies on one another (e.g., HR Data/Payroll/CRM/GL)
• Ability to meet tight deadlines


Travel Requirements:

• Ability to travel as required to client sites and other company-sponsored events (approximately 70-80%)

Solves a range of straightforward problems. Analyzes possible solutions developing and communicating procedures. Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction.
