Title Intern - CADD Operator

Description Kimley-Horn’s Wireless team in our Atlanta Peachtree Corners office has a summer internship opportunity for students interested in working as a CADD Operator. This internship will begin in the summer, with the potential to continue part-time in the fall. With this in mind, applicants must be local to the Atlanta area. Candidates also must be currently in the process of obtaining a technical degree focused on AutoCAD. The person in this position will use basic computer drafting techniques to generate site plans, construction drawings, zoning drawings and details associated with wireless communication facilities. In addition, this person will use hand drawn field sketches, photographs and notes to generate lease exhibits and construction drawings.
Position Requirements •High school diploma or equivalent
•Current enrollment in a program with a focus on AutoCAD, Drafting Technology, or other relevant major
•Working knowledge and experience with AutoCAD
•Detail oriented, professional attitude
•Ability to work independently and with a team
