Our Newport News, VA office has an immediate need for a candidate with interest in a temporary part-time, as-needed assignment to support stormwater compliance related opportunities in the Hampton Roads region. Candidates must have a willingness to perform general civil and/or environmental tasks supporting project managers as required.

Tasks may include, but are not limited to:
Water Resource Master Planning, permit compliance monitoring, Erosion and Sediment Control Site Observations, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan Development, MS Excel and Access Database, stormwater regulatory compliance reviews
Position Requirements • Have a BS or MS from an accredited university in the field of Environmental Science
• 10+ years of experience related to stormwater management and operations
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
• Detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment
• Ability to work independently
