Description Kimley-Horn's Hydraulics/Hydrology team is looking for an entry-level civil engineering graduate to join our Atlanta, GA office. Interested candidates must have a willingness to perform general civil\environmental engineering tasks supporting various project managers as required. The position will work on public and private sector projects including stormwater management analysis and design, flood studies, stormwater master plans, bridge/culvert hydraulic analysis/design, etc.
Position Requirements • Have or in process of completing a BS or MS from an ABET accredited university in the field of Civil or Environmental Engineering
• Strong communication, leadership and technical skills
• Must possess or working towards obtaining the "Engineer-In-Training" or "Engineering Intern" certification

Professional Registration EIT - Engineer-In-Training
Desired Qualifications • Zero to two years of relevant experience with a civil engineering firm designing for surface water projects
• Working knowledge of ESRI’s ArcGIS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation, or other design programs
• Experience performing basic hydrology and hydraulic calculations
• Previous internship experience with a civil engineering design firm
• Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
• An entrepreneurial spirit
