Description We are seeking an energetic and talented Jr. Graphic/Web Designer to join our Marketing Team in our Orange, CA office. This position will be primarily responsible for designing graphics for proposals, presentations, specialty pieces (e.g., brochures, announcements, trade show displays, etc.), and billable projects. We are actively expanding our online capabilities including: website and email design, online maps, and digital versions of printed/physical materials. Responsibilities include in-house production of final deliverables while coordinating closely with other marketing staff and project managers.
Position Requirements •BA/BS in Graphic Design or similar
•Minimum of one to three years of experience
•Proficient in Adobe CC 2014 (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator) and Microsoft Office Suite (Kimley-Horn is a PC-based company); Advanced experience using InDesign software required for layout of complex documents (often 50+ pages)
•Knowledge of and ability to write HTML/CSS/other coding languages and experience with Dreamweaver/Flash/etc.
•Ability to independently handle multiple, simultaneous, varied assignments and meet tight deadlines, while providing a consistent level of quality and accuracy
•Professional demeanor with a positive, solution-seeking attitude and a high degree of organization and personal responsibility
•Superior communication skills
•Thrive as part of a large, creative, specialized marketing team
•Design marketing materials for digital media - website, email, social, blog, etc.
•Effectively communicate with appropriate internal and external contacts, including clients, coworkers, and vendors
•Create Web-based solutions with an emphasis on user-interaction-based design

Desired Qualifications •Experience with Adobe Muse, Adobe Premier (video editing), Sketch-Up, 3Ds Max a plus
•Knowledge of digital photography is desired
