We have an exciting opportunity for a Proposal/Marketing Coordinator to join our regional marketing team in our Reston, VA office.

Responsibilities of this role will include:
• Coordinate proposals, statements of qualifications, and letters of interest
• Conduct copy editing and compliance review of marketing deliverables
• Collaborate with project managers located in multiple offices to prepare submittals
• Coordinate with graphic designers to produce marketing pieces (multimedia brochures, presentations, proposals, flyers, leave-behinds, agendas, etc.)
• Independently manage time and duties
• Identify and vet potential leads
• Help with strategies to pursue new clients and projects
• Coordinate special projects/events, as needed
• Represent Kimley-Horn at events and conferences

Additional responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
• Assist with interview preparation for project teams
• Conduct Vision (marketing database) queries and internet/intranet research
• Maintain accuracy of Vision database
• Update state agency prequalification forms
• Attend client meetings, conferences, interview preps, and presentations as needed
• Travel to support region
Position Requirements
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently
  • Positive attitude/support mentality
  • Team player
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe InDesign
  • BA degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, English, or the equivalent degree
