Description Kimley-Horn has a challenging opportunity for a Desktop Publisher/Administrative Assistant to join the regional marketing team in the West Palm Beach office. In addition to administrative support tasks (filing, errands, document production/copying, etc.), this position is responsible for typing/designing/making text edits to technical proposals and other publications in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Requires close coordination with technical writing, graphic design and other administrative staff. The position may require designing specialty pieces or graphics within a presentation or proposal as well as providing production support to the marketing department as needed. Work will be done in a PC environment.
Position Requirements • Intermediate knowledge of Adobe InDesign, including knowledge of style sheets, master pages, and templates
• Functional knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
• 2+ years of related experience
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Ability to act independently and take on a variety of assignments
